Chapter Meeting Friday

Welcome to the New Year. We pray that this will be a year that will see our Chapter grow in God’s grace, grow in spirit, grow in numbers, and grow in our Christian walk! Please remember to pray for our Chapter, and especially for the officers …

Remember, the 2nd Friday Night of every month is our Chapter Meeting Night. We are resuming our meetings in Howe’s Cave, at the Caverns Palace (formerly known as Borrelli’s) on Route 7. Dining / Fellowship starting around 6, and the meeting at 7:30.

Our Prayers for Newtown, Ct

Candle

Light a Candle

Our prayers today are for the friends and families of those who were killed and injured in the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Ct. May God pour out His comfort on them during this painful time; may the physically and emotionally wounded be healed quickly; May the children and teachers who were killed in this seemingly senseless tragedy be welcomed into His loving arms. Amen.

Busy Month

If you have a minute, be sure to check out the pictures from the Home 4 Joe Ride and Event as well as Catskill Thunder in our Gallery.

There were somewhere around 800 Motorcycles and 1500 people who came out to support Sgt Joe Wilkinson and his family to raise support for a new home for them.

This event was the final one over the summer and was an unqualified success! Joe is a Gulf War Veteran who contracted something that has left him in a wheelchair. The house will be specially constructed to assist with his needs.

At Catskill Thunder, we fed hundreds (yes hundreds) of folks (vendors, club members, etc etc) over the four day event under our tents. Saturday Lunch was the peak, with over 125 hot meals provided to our friends at Blackthorne. Many folks came out, ate, and stayed and chatted for hours. There was great support from our Chapter as well as MELCHiZEDEKS MC in making this a resounding successful 4 days!

One of the many club members we fed commented “You guys have restored the family atmosphere that we used to enjoy back in the 60′s but seems to have been lost in most places”. Amen!
